Playing with Kids and Toys
Kids and toys naturally go together and so does play. Children learn about their world through play. The play exchanges they have with you support their brain development which is only 25% developed at birth. In order to reach their full potential, babies and young children need a variety of interesting play experiences which are provided through their exchanges with their environment, toys and their parents of course.
You don’t need to buy every toy in the store to help your child develop, in fact, please don’t. If you choose toys wisely, you will get years of play from the simplest of toys that cost the least.

Social Skills for Preschoolers
Preschool children are expelled three times as often as children in K-12 schools. Most a
re expelled for their behavior. Most schools do not have a Behaviorist on staff, so they are ill equipped to figure out the cause of the behavior and they don’t have behavior techniques that Behaviorists have. This is taught by a Behaviorist and a Preschool Special Education teacher who have years of training working with children with social skills issues.
Through play, art and typical preschool activities the teachers gently guide children how to behave when approached by a peer, how to take turns, ask for what they want or need, how to approach peers, how to sit during circle time, and how to focus on a teacher directed task.
This class is taught by Naama Zeevi, MS, a Behaviorist, School Counselor and Psychologist. It is also taught by Faith Golden, MA, Child Development Specialist and previous LAUSD Preschool Special Ed teacher.
Cost: $195.00 per 5 week session.

Thursday, July 11- August 08 3:30-4:30 PM
Ages: 3-5 years- Preschool age accompanied by a parent or guardian
Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited.Parent must stay within the facility during class

Messy Play Class
Come and enjoy a stress-free hour of messy play with your child. In this class you and your child are free to explore paint, play do
h, spaghetti, dirt, sand, flour mixtures and other fun art and sensory materials. You don’t need to worry about getting messy or cleaning up. Leave that to us.
Join in with your child and/or watch your child’s imagination and inner artist soar to new heights while you both have fun with no stress about the mess.
Make room on the walls for lots of great art produced from this class.
To give each child individual attention class space is limited. Registration is required.
